By deploying the Uptira box according to your Resilience Plan, you can ensure that up to 100% of your critical operational output (including voice and data data) continues without a signal drop.
It is both. The Uptira unit is a multi-function device. It has a high-gain antenna array (integrated and top-mounted) that can capture signals in Low Signal Areas and transform them into strong, Active 5G signals. In a primary outage, the Power Outage Plan checklist shows how it should be deployed. In low signal areas, it should be positioned for maximum gain.
It is designed for rapid, flexible deployment. Our comprehensive POWER OUTAGE PLAN checklist (visible on our site signs) outlines the simple three-step process: (1) Power On the unit (which has integrated battery storage for instant failover), (2) Position Unit in your workspace or at a strategic point (like near a window for high signal areas), and (3) Connect Teams. It is a standalone system with its own stand, requiring no complex technical installation.
The Uptira unit contains significant integrated battery storage (our test data shows the battery can easily last an average outage while maintaining full performance). You can monitor its status in real-time via the front screen. Our data demonstrates that even when running on battery (indicated as ‘ACTIVE’ with ‘SIGNAL: STRONG’), the Voice & Data Output remains at 100%, and POS Transaction Volume continues at 98%, ensuring zero disruption.
